Regarding Cal State Los Angeles. I took a number of classes there and found the University to be a mixed bag. There are many positives such as it's Performing Arts Dept, very diverse student body, and close access to downtown L.A. and freeways. However, there are certainly some things I did not care for, namely: It is a total commuter school.
