A little while back I put up a post regarding checking car rental prices from Costco often. I had booked an Alamo car for an incredibly good price, checked back a week later and found a Budget car for even less. Yesterday I checked Costco prices again and Alamo has now beat the Budget price! Maybe if I keep checking it will be free!
1. Re: Booking car rental through Costco. 4 years ago. The way I have done it:: Alamo has "Skip the counter option". Become a loyalty member with Alamo. Rent through Costco. Take the Costco/Alamo confirmation #, go to the Alamo site using your loyalty number. Look up your reservation with the # .

I just checked my car rental from Costco for our September trip and Budget was cheaper by $5 than my original Enterprise booking so I booked with them. I went into my account to cancel Enterprise and clicked on the Enterprise reservation and it was $21 less than my original invoice.
