    1 year ago. My family of 4 with a small dog are going to drive to NYC from Canada by car. At first we want to stay in Manhattan near Times Square for convenience and vibe. However, we can't seem to find any hotel/garage parking with in/out privilege in Manhattan or nearby areas (except for hotels in NJ, Long Island /Queens and airport area).

    10. Re: Parking my car for a week in NYC. Wowzer -- even the "cheap" flights from Saint John are ridiculously expensive, $900 - $1000/person!! But I fear that there's been a misunderstanding re: Bangor airline fares. $342 for a round-trip flight between Bangor and NYC looks to me to be the price for 1 person, not 2.

    The best option for the Port Authority parking garage is the left lane of the right tube. At the exit of the tunnel, that lane has to go left onto Dyer Ave. Once on Dyer Ave, the garage entrance will be on the right just before W 40th St. There will be a big overhead "Parking" sign to the ramp. Avoid the right lane of the right-hand tube.
