Every garage will be happy to have you there for a couple of hours and have you pay $20. And they will be glad to let you stay overnight and charge you $40 per night.

If you coming from SI just take the Manhattan Bridge and look for parking in East Village or Lower East Side. If you park close to Astor Place you’ll be close to subways.

    6 years ago. Plenty of free parking on the Staten Island side of the SI Ferry, and we don't have those annoying alternate side parking rules either! But, if coming during the week, it is the "downtown" area of SI and there are 2 HS and an Elementary School all within walking distance of the ferry, so you may need to park and walk a bit.
