5. Re: Hertz Gold membership question. 6 years ago. No, you need to have the GR number on the reservation to qualify for the service, which basically means they pre- allocate a car to you which you can just go to the garage and drive off in, depending on the location arrangements.
My husband is a Gold member at Hertz and when we travel he just goes over to the gold section and chooses any one car that are in those isles. I am wondering if 1. They have this option at this airport and 2. If so if someone can tell me if mini vans or SUVs are part of that selection. Thank you!!
12 years ago. I joined Hertz Gold Club earlier this year while they were offering it free of charge, and made a booking for a car for my holiday last 2 weeks of April. Upon arrival at MCO I switched on my mobile and received an E-mail from Hertz stating which car I had been allocated and in which bay it was located.
Take the advice from Teri S (post #4) for your Autoslash/Hertz reservation and you will skip the line, your name and the stall number of the car will be on a display where you are dropped off. Worst case, they have a dedicated GOLD counter with a short line. Take your GOLD membership number just in case. 7.

Hertz has another program that's free, but I can't remember what it's called right now.My husband signed up for it before we went to Maui and it worked out great. We were on a separate line and only had one person in front of us, while the other line had about 20 people waiting. Just go to the Hertz website and check it out.
Answer 1 of 9: Not sure what to do I have 2 bookings - one with expedia with hertz and one direct with hertz as a gold member - the direct booking is around £30 more expensive but i get to bypass the counter i understand.
