You'll likely need to pay for uber/taxi from the place you return the car to your hotel and then take another from your hotel to the airport. That's going to be $30-$40 (guesstimate depending on what you take) at least with tip.

17 years ago. If you go out door 10 or 11 at the airport, you will see the shuttle buses. Just hop on and they will take you directly to the facility. Hop off, and when you get inside you'll see all the rental car agencies. When we went in May we thought it would just be a big confusing mess but it's really easy!
Hello fellow TA´s, We always rent a car while in Vegas.That being said, last time we were there (December 2020) there was a very long line to get in the shuttle from Terminal 3 to the Rental Car Center, so we opted for a Cab there which costed $20 bucks (we ere told that was because there was 25% capacity on the bus due to Covid restrictions) Would like to avoid that this time, so my question ...
While things can and do change, airport car rental prices have generally been very competitive when I did rent cars. You also aren't locked into one vendor and limited hours like you will be on the strip. When you figure the cab will be about $30 after tip and possible credit card surcharge, that goes a long way to a day's car rental.
