Having used Alamo SJU many times now I can say it is the best car rental experience I have had anywhere in the world including other Alamo's and various other companies. 30 reviews. 29 helpful votes. Mauna Kea w/ rental car. 5 years ago. I read that most rental cars do not allow their cars to be taken up Mauna Kea. However I can't tell if any of that information is current. And it seems that one usually only finds out about restrictions when picking up the car.
