They go for the white legs because they look like the belly of a fish. If you are not a strong swimmer and kick and flap a lot you tend to attrack sharks because it mimicks a sick or injured fish. In all truth, sharks are not preying on humans. They have poor eyesight and simply get confused sometimes.
