    14 helpful votes. Soriana Plaza Carracol does not accept credit cards. 7 years ago. It' happening again. They will accept Mexican credit cards but not americano. Not Visa, not American Express and not Master Card! When asked why, the reply is that there is something wrong with the system. Just be forewarned!

    The New Soriana Has Opened. Jul 17, 2024, 1:59 AM. A new Soriana Hiper store has opened across the street from Costco. It opened last Friday, and then was shut down the rest of the day. Apparently part of their building permit required that they put in a pedestrian bridge (why, I don't know since no one uses them) along with Costco.

In additiom to the restaurant in the little flea market, there is a small plaza across from the treminal on the street that exits the termnal to the main road. It also has a restaurant with seating both inside and outside.

    Soriana Super's are usually better stocked when it comes to imported and specialty items. After the merger, Mega did not totally incorporate Soriana's inventory list. They stick with the same standard inventory they has when it was Commercial Mexicana. Same company but different inventory and levels of selections.
