Liquor is only sold in State approved facilities, with different kinds of licenses. Only some can sell on Sunday.
Yes, it is easy. To get to the Costco in Carolina, just go over the bridge as you exit the airport and then get onto RT 8 and that will take you to Costco. The bridge costs $3. On the way to Fajardo, take RT 3 until you can get onto RT 66 or just continue on RT 3 for no tolls (but more traffic/stoplights) Edited: 11 years ago.

15 years ago. There are Costco's in the Metro Area. The closest one to Isla Verde is the one in Carolina. There are 2 in Bayamon and 1 in Plaza Centro Mall in Caguas. As for supermarkets similar to Safeway's check Amigo, Pueblo, Grande, Supermax or Wallmart Supercenter. The closest one depends on where you are staying.
Tip 2: Easier is if you can get the bus driver to drop you off at the traffic light in front of the Holiday Inn. Take that street inland and Costco will be on your left. Tip 3: Cab back. Tip 4: Sam’s Club, Walmart, Mega and Chedraui are all a short cab ride away. Time is money. You’ll be back at the beach by the time you are shopping in Costco.
