Every time I've gone to Mexico, I've asked my doctor for a prescription of Cipro....antibiotic that stops everything in it's tracks if you know what I mean. I believe this is also available over the counter in Mexico no prescription needed. (FYI...I've only had to use this once....12 years ago in Acapulco, never had problems in Cancun.
