   Dec 14, 2023, 1:55 PM. Jennie, we ended up with Alamo because there ended up being a $100 price drop vs Avis closer to our trip time. Did everything online so was able to use the skip-the-line feature. Had a choice of 3 midsize SUVs and chose an almost brand new one that was very clean inside and out with a full tank.

   -Hawaiian airlines discount with Avis: K816401 (This one tends to be the cheapest)-Island air discount with Budget: U030087-Other rental car options include Discount hawaii car rental, Adventures rent-a-jeep (used cheap 4x4s), Costco, Priceline and Expedia. I'm sure there are lots more options, but found these to be the best.

Rented at Enterprise before and know you have to take the shuttle to their location. I'm assuming Avis is about the same.
