The Google Flights team recently analyzed five years' worth of data – from August 2017 to August 2022 – to find out the best time to book a flight and other times airfare deals are at their best.
If google had used the word "data" because google has a lot of data and plenty of firepower to analyze terabytes and terabytes of data, I would have said -- well ok. They may be right. I'm sure their data shows that Tuesday is not the cheapest but to say that it is usually best to book right away may or may not apply to all routes and flights .
Answer 1 of 50: I find the new look Google flights to be a step backwards. It has obviously been designed for tablets/phones, but is not as good as the previous site for desktops/laptops.
