9 years ago. I am mapping out a massive USA Road Trip and had my route drive times on the website: roadtrippers.com. A couple times seems 'long' to me so I went to google maps & all times were significantly shorter (yippee!). Went to mapquest.com & times were similar to Google Maps BU each leg of trip was 15-30 minutes longer on mapquest.
Don't miss the Rouge factory tour if production is taking place. Timing your trip through Chicago probably is the best and easiest way to avoid traffic problems. Search the Chicago forum or post there for the best times to travel through that metropolitan area. You should be able to have a lot of fun on these trips.

Mapquest has me exiting I-35 near Sulphur and taking Hwy 177 north to connect with I-44 east of Oklahoma City. I've always just taken I -35 and connected with I- 44 in Oklahoma City. Does anyone know if this bypass will save time or stress. We will probably be hitting Oklahoma City around 6pm on Friday.
