Answer 1 of 8: I am taking my mom to Vegas in less than two weeks (Jan 17-20) - it will be her first time. I am 27 and she is 61. I want to go to a show and I'm wondering what you all think might be available at the discount ticket booth.
If the transit agency/company is like the ones out here (VA/MD/DC), you do NOT have to be local to get the discount, but you do need to go to one of their designated locations and show proof of age and get a pass or something that quickly identifies you as a "senior citizen" to qualify for the reduced fare.
