12 years ago. Save. I rented a mid size SUV at Phoenix Sky for $13.00 per day in my husbands name through Priceline. I then signed up for Hertz Gold through AAA in my husbands name. I just called Hertz and because we used Priceline, we are not able to use the Hertz Gold perks like adding a second driver (myself) or skipping the rental line.
Horrible experience with Hertz in mid December. I had reserved a 7-seater (L4) SUV since I needed a 7-seater. When I reached Hertz on the A-side it said President Circle after my name in the board. I hold President Circle tier at Hertz and the writing on the board meant I should pick up a car in the President Circle area.
12 years ago. I joined Hertz Gold Club earlier this year while they were offering it free of charge, and made a booking for a car for my holiday last 2 weeks of April. Upon arrival at MCO I switched on my mobile and received an E-mail from Hertz stating which car I had been allocated and in which bay it was located.

I have Hertz president's circle and Avis's preferred plus. If I reserve a car instead of pay now, do I have to line up in the office or can go straight to the car ? Are they strict at checking ID for the coupon code?
