Although the sticker is only $5, you may or may not get it off the windshield. The portable transponder with the suction cups is going to cost more than the $19.75 maximum admin fees charged by rental's toll program. If you plan on returning to Florida, I would get a portable transponder.

The above post may work out perfectly for you, however without knowing your specific plans, hard to tell you more. Avis charges $3.95 fee per rental day, plus tolls ($20 max) and they don't use a transponder, it is toll by plate.
We use Avis all the time, are you a Preferred member? If not join when you book it cuts out the visit to the rental desk. You are allocated a vehicle if you are a member but if you don't like it there is an area you can pick another from, or just walk back to the kiosk in the garage where they will sort you out.
