An express deal for $192 for 8 days of an economy car rental. Company revealed after purchasing, but guaranteed to be one of six. Other deals are at least twice that much if not more so it seems to good to be true.
So the express deal is actually more expensive than just booking the $89 room that I knew the name of. Also to be noted here as well the hotel I knew the name of was 3 star and the more expensive express deal was only 2.5 stars. So the room you know the name of is cheaper than the express deal. The other scammy deal is their price breakers.
Priceline is ABSOLUTELY scamming it’s customers. When they say the “Express Deal” is $20.00 cheaper and they charge you an extra $19.20 in “taxes and fees”, that is my definition of a S-C-A-M. (Fairly easy check - Ramsey MN, 6/17/22 - Comfort Suites). However, I’m not sure Priceline is setting the “taxes and fees”.

3 years ago. Kirk, you did not rent a car from Priceline, you rented from a rental company and had Priceline book it. That means you are held to the terms you agreed to with both companies. You are not entitled automatically to a refund because you had personal things go wrong.
