1 review. AAA coupon using rentalcars.com. 6 years ago. Hello I am a auto moto club member from europe and my club has the same advantages as AAA membership in USA. So, bad luck I will be month younger than required 25 year old, so I looked up how to avoid urderage surcharge and my europe membership should do the trick (same as AAA).

Thanks. It appears there's no AAA discount on Hertz right now except for weekend and weekly rentals (I'm renting for 4 weekdays). Hertz has a 25% off discount coupon code, but it only allows one CDP code, so it won't let me enter my AAA information to get the free second driver.

AAA members get the undeage fee waved with Hertz. Join the rental car clubs. They are free to join, give you discounts and allow you to pre fill all the information so you don't have to always stop at the rental counter. The Kiosks are time savers.

110 helpful votes. 6. Re: extra charge on Hertz car rental for being over 65. 12 years ago. For a Hertz reservation, they ask your age in this manner: 18-19, 20-24 or 25+. There is no mention of a charge for a 65+ driver. I called them and got the same information. I think there is some misunderstanding here.

I looked it up on Enterprise, and you can rent an economy carfor those dates, but they tack on $120 in "Young Driver Fees" on top of everything else. The pre-tax and pre-fee total was like $233, but once everything was added on, it was around $550.
