Most car rental shuttles including Hertz pull up to the 'traffic island' in the roadway in front of exit door for baggage claim at each terminal. The traffic island has color-coded signs hanging over it. Look for the PURPLE overhead sign that says "Rental Cars".

The pickup and drop off lots for each company are separate and independent. The Hertz lot and the Enterprise lots are about 0.7 miles from each other.

But usually they don't check the car in until they open in the morning, meaning that you might run up an extra days' charge depending on what time of day you originally picked up the car.
