31 reviews. 12 helpful votes. Don't buy a Lebara Mobile SIM. 10 years ago. Lebara mobile might seem attractive, but they are a nightmare to deal with - especially if you're travelling from overseas into the UK. I bought a Lebara SIM because I had used Lebara in Spain, and it was very easy.
I purchased a Lebara SIM at Sydney airport which supposedly included a £10 credit for the UK. I also purchased an EE SIM for my iPad at the same time. This has worked brilliantly in the UK, but be warned as you move into the Irish Republic things are not so good. The Lebara SIM has given us problems ever since we have arrived in the UK.

Don't buy a Lebara Mobile SIM! NEVER!!! Lebara SIM suck; Lebara Online Service (they call it exceptional when waiting to talk to them on the phone) sucks even more. To cut a long story short, I ordered a Lebara Sim card. It didn't work, I couldn't make or receive any calls, I couldn't use it to download data. It simply didn't work!

Re: Lebara Sim - Roaming in India. Nov 6, 2023, 6:19 AM. Purchased to use in Punjab and Delhi, worked great. I setup the Sim a few days before I left the UK with the APN details and profile (iPhone) and used locally for calls and data. Once arriving in India I manually select the VI network and it worked without issues.
