The desk agent will explain but after you check-in with the desk they will direct you in where to go to get your vehicle. You will be able to choose your own car from a row or two of cars that are the same class of car you have reserved.

During rental, employee said, if Hertz fills up the car upon your return, it will be for $.25 a gallon. NOT the case, I was charged $2.34 for 19 gallons and returned the car with over 1/4 tank of gas.
Hertz/Thrifty/Dollar car rental at TPA. 3 years ago. Just a heads up if you rent from one of these, (all owned by Hertz). The rental counters for Thrifty and Dollar are closed and you have to go thru Hertz to get your car. Hertz is not staffing their counters enough to adequately keep up with customers.
