Answer 11 of 19: We traveled to Ireland in June. We reserved a van on Expedia. When we arrived, we were told the van would not be available for hours. We could either wait for the van or upgrade to a larger van for a TOTAL of 900 euros.
They tried to charge for extra driver when it was included, tried to charge for extra fuel, got away with that, tried to charge for two extra days, got that back.
Answer 1 of 7: Be careful when renting from Hertz at the Dublin airport. They tell you that they can upgrade you to a better vehicle and then charge you more than the original rental and give you a vehicle that isn't any better.
