I am planning my 3 days trip to las vegas and I am considering to include an extreme activity. Most temptous is to drive an extreme car, but I am also considering sky diving, or a flight experience, heavy equipment or outdoor shooting.
Part of my vacation is not having to think about car rental,planning a route,looking for parking,etc. Id not rent a car and take a tour to the dam. You surely dont need a car while in Vegas. With Uber,Lyft and other modes of transport in Vegas,getting anywhere is quite easy. have fun

You'll likely need to pay for uber/taxi from the place you return the car to your hotel and then take another from your hotel to the airport. That's going to be $30-$40 (guesstimate depending on what you take) at least with tip.

Ten years ago, a rental car was an easy choice. These days, rental cars aren't the most cost effective option unless you are planning on visiting outside the city. Check Budget rent a car on Tropicana Ave across from the Orleans, usually much lower with NO airport fees, even with the Uber ride from the airport! Reply.
