The rate is $14 per night but works out to about $61 a night after resort fees and taxes. The Flamingo, Linq, and Harrahs are about $7 for my dates so I could go cheaper. I plan on doing a lot of window shopping, eating at casual restaurants and happy hours, going to Area 15, and playing a penny slot or two.

You'll likely need to pay for uber/taxi from the place you return the car to your hotel and then take another from your hotel to the airport. That's going to be $30-$40 (guesstimate depending on what you take) at least with tip.
Part of my vacation is not having to think about car rental,planning a route,looking for parking,etc. Id not rent a car and take a tour to the dam. You surely dont need a car while in Vegas. With Uber,Lyft and other modes of transport in Vegas,getting anywhere is quite easy. have fun
