   Went with Advantage because they were around $150-250 cheaper than the other car rental companies at Las Vegas Airport. I was worried that their prices would go up so my husband said we should prepay. I just checked on their website and the rate is now $47 cheaper than what I paid. Oh we'll, live and learn.

   A solo traveler, I always book the economy class cars. It was my first time dealing with Advantage. I arrived at the counter in Las Vegas airport 30 minutes prior to my reservation time and found 8 people ahead of me. Three clerks were serving the customers so I estimated it would take about 15 minutes to be served.

   Apparently legitimate rental agencies will pay tire shops to replace worn out tires in circumstances like this. Advantage refused to authorize and cover cost to repair tire. I spoke with Advantage manager Mike who said "we can't pay for a $300 tire for your rental car because your three day rental was only $150 and that wouldn't cover it".
