   Alamo vs Advantage Rent a Car. Any major difference between 2 - have you rented from either this year. Advantage about $20 cheaper than Alamo for 11 days. Both let you drive trough any state whereas Budget that is cheaper than both only permit travel in Utah, Nevada, Az and California.

   A solo traveler, I always book the economy class cars. It was my first time dealing with Advantage. I arrived at the counter in Las Vegas airport 30 minutes prior to my reservation time and found 8 people ahead of me. Three clerks were serving the customers so I estimated it would take about 15 minutes to be served.

   Not a company I’ll ever use.after you return your car in the garage you walk to the shuttle. once on it’s about a 8-10 minute ride. It shouldn’t take you more than about 20 minutes from when you enter the garage to get dropped off at the terminal.

   Hawkeye, (just noticed this today myself) When you get an e-mail from Priceline with the list of deals and you click on "Las Vegas" and the dates you want, when all the car rental companies come up they all show "shuttle service" and Advantage shows "in-terminal counter".
