To be safe, I'd cancel the ones you don't need. Some rental companies will charge you a fee if you cancel less than 48 hours before your reservation. Maybe read your reservations regarding the cancellation policy. Report inappropriate content. Rashaun S.

Here are some of my suspicions about your situation: The North Bergen rental depot was most likely a franchisee rather than a full Hertz location, and while the main Hertz website doesn't make any distinction, and doesn't notify you which type you are using, I have noticed the fine print in the contract can be different, when you check it and compare.

You can use Expedia or other third party sites to compare rates, but then go directly to the rental car company's website to reserve. It's better not to get a third party involved, especially if there are any issues.

Not sure if this assists, but l have always found that when booking through a third party (ie a tour package), all entitlements and perks with companies like Hilton, Sheraton, Hertz etc (except for airlines miles) become nullified.
