Chicago Botanic Gardens are a great place to visit and worth a few visits throughout the year to see the gardens in different seasons. However the $20 parking is expensive for 2 people. On Sundays in the summer there is a Garden Trolley which takes visitors from Glencoe Metra station to the Gardens for $2 return.

There are so many variety of gardens to see. The bonsai’s are not available until the cicada’s are gone, probably August. $10 to park and $25 per person. Just buy a $135 annual park pass. There is a beer garden but the prices are pretty expensive $15 hot dogs. $8 beers. There is also a 20 minute trolley included.
