I got an upgrade to a full size for free when I was out there 2 weeks ago. Didn't even ask, guy just gave it to me. There are no supervisors around, so just print your contract at the kiosk and when you go into the garage, slip him a $20 and ask for an upgrade. Worst that can happen is he'll say no.

Have used Alamo, Dollar, National & Hertz. All great. Always join the club for that company. With National Emerald Club if you rent at least a mid-size, you go directly to the appropriate section, choose a car &they head to the kiosk at the exit. I always gas up at the station just below Mandalay Bay.
