Kaitlin Marie Bennett (born October 15, 1995), also known as the Kent State gun girl, is an American gun rights activist and conservative social media personality. She received media attention in 2018 for open-carrying an AR-10 rifle at Kent State University after graduating. Bennett and her husband run Liberty Hangout.
This is a LARGE park, with confusing, narrow, country roads around it. West Cable Line Rd. remains closed, so you must zigzag around to get to the Marina/Beach/2 large picnic shelters on the south side. Many park signs are present but mostly smallish, and do not indicate distances.
2) The water was so clear you could see through to the rocks below! 3) Huge beach with REAL sand- not gravel like Alum Creek beach. 4) Beach was clean. 5) Lots of restroom/changing facilities between the parking lot and the beach proper- it is a state park near a lake, so yes, there will be spiders in the bathroom.
Excellent park for Ohio people. Aug 2021. This State park is hidden gem for those who are looking for all kinds of activities. If you're looking for a day trip in the Lake, or if you want to bike, or if you want to swim, or if you want to sit and relax, or if you want to hike. The park is good size and offers enough space for everyone.
