What I don’t like about Hertz, they charge you each and every day of the rental, even if you never go through another toll. The max is $24 or so, but it’s just flat out wrong.
Thus, under the terms of the program, if you rent a car for 5 days and on the 5th day you use your EZ Pass, you are charged an extra $24.75 administrative fee for five days, more than twice the most expensive toll in the NYC area.
