7. Re: International to Domestic connection in DIA. 4 years ago. You do have a bit of a benefit using Southwest as your connection, but this is still a somewhat risky plan. With most airlines, if you miss a flight on your itinerary the entire itinerary is canceled. Southwest is more flexible in allowing you to use the ticket.
