2. Re: Reservations.com "Not cool, misleading, no customer service". I too thought I was booking through the Hotel and I saw no information on my site about a $14.95 booking fee or anything about terms and conditions nor did I even get an email confirmation. In fact the site is very misleading.
From the travelocity.com website, under "Support - Customer Support - Contact Us", a phone number of 1-855-863-9601 is listed. They also have a Callback button you can click. You enter your name, itinerary number, and phone number and they will call you back. They list the wait time.
The chat person said they could not help. so I had to call. I called and the rep said their was a 1 night cancellation fee of $400 even though the cancellation policy on their site said otherwise. I went back and forth with her, then asked to drop the reservation down to just the 1 night and cancel the other days to avoid the cancellation fee.
Yep. Bad experience for me too. Couldn't get customer service on the phone. Multiple calls. After a hold, a promise of call back. When the call back came, more hold time and elevator music. When it seemed like a person came on the line, there was a hang up. Took six or more tries to get a live person. ARGH!
Booking in Canada - for Canada and being charged in US dollars!!!!! This is still happening as of today - February 28, 2020. What a scam - stay away - this is the classic bait and switch!!!!!
