The "discount" ones off the airport have a reputation for bad service, and discounts there are often bait and switch. The main roads are similar to Interstates in the US.

I have a few reservations with different companies. I’ll be canceling and let one or two remain. Right now I have enterprise $590; and thrifty $400; and Avis $600.

   Most have offices in the Condado. We recommend Avis, Enterprise and Charley (Local company) 2. Re: Recomendations for Car Rental Companies. We have used Charlie Car several times with no issues. They are the Ace Car provider and sometimes you can get a cheaper rate booking through them.
