If you book Southwest and the price drops you can rebook and get a credit towards a future flight for the difference. I don’t think $300 r/t is a bad price if the flight dates and times are right for you considering you won't pay for bags.
I would book your flights well in advance. The airlines are predicting a huge increase in demand for travel this summer. Saturday Hawaii had 32k arrivals; pre-covid they averaged 20k. Once ppl are vaccinated they will feel safe to travel. I have seen flights double for cabo recently. As others have said always book direct with the airline.
Baltimore is all nonstops, probably your best bet. If it is the holiday of February 18th, round-trip holiday prices will be over $200. If it is not a holiday Baltimore and Tampa seemed to have the lowest prices closest to or under $200, during this sale.
