I just went thru the same excercise in renting a car.Priceline adds an extra fee on top of taxes and airport fees. While the cost of the car looks good compare the taxes. . In LA a car for 161 rented from priceline had about $50 in fees while offsite the tax was only $
3 years ago. Kirk, you did not rent a car from Priceline, you rented from a rental company and had Priceline book it. That means you are held to the terms you agreed to with both companies. You are not entitled automatically to a refund because you had personal things go wrong.
I use Priceline quite often for my flight tickets, hotel bookings and car rentals. I used Priceline for car rental in Fajardo. I never used the booking since we found a better solution for car rental. However, I as charged $44 by Priceline for Collision Damage. I dont understand why Priceline would charge me for a service they never provided.
