And rental companies don’t keep rental cars for 1-2 hours after the booked pickup time unless they state that in their T&Cs. So making sure the rental location is open 1-2hrs after the time you booked to pick up might lead to disappointment if you also expect your car to be waiting for you when you are late. 15 years ago. Hi. I have made myself an expert on evaluation of rental car rates over the past 3 months. Now I cannot speak for Canadian AAA membership, but I know that I could save at least 10% on a posted rate. But, and there is a catch! You must watch carefully that they do not apply this savings to a "market" rate.
Dec 28, 2023, 5:09 PM. I had a bad experience with them. The car had half a tank of gas in it. I returned the car with 3/4 of a tank but they charged me $52 because they state it was full when I picked it up. The girl that returned my call when I disputed the charge was hostile and very rude.

Dec 4, 2023, 5:40 PM. Considering using fox rental cars as the mini van would be about $310 for 9 days (pick up in Tampa, return to Orlando ).....compared to like $900 with all the other companies. Just nervous with the huge price difference (but if legit it would save money to use on the other big parts of the trip).
