   I called Priceline and they admitted that the prepayment $261 is only for reservations fee not for car rental. The thrifty car rental said the prepayment not go to their pocket. However time pressures sometimes means it’s easier to see the sort of prices on offer on an aggregator site rather than traveling through each supplier individually. I’ve learned a lesson though. Hi, I have seen on here that it is a good idea to add a Thrifty Blue Chip number to our car hire booking so that we don’t have to wait as long at the desk. We booked ( and paid for) our car using Rentalcars.com ( we are in Australia).

   Hi! We are going to rent a car for two days to go from Las Vegas to the Grand Canyon.. Reviewing the prices I see that when making the reservation directly in Avis it comes out for 397 dollars: 218 of the car, 89 of LDW and ALI (insurance) and 80 of taxes, while in Priceline for the same car for the same date it gives a total price of 203, indicates that this includes taxes and the two insurances.
