Used them twice for total of 4 weeks. Took all extra insurance as i didnt want headaches. Experience after about 2300 miles driven was outstanding wi Hertz. No games at return about damage. We were careful and didnt do any damage and actually washed each car once to keep it from looking a mess from road dirt.

Iceland car rental recommendation. 12 years ago. I recently visited Iceland for 2 weeks - travelling from Reykjavik via the Golden Circle to Snæfellsnes and on to the West Fjords. I've hired a lot of cars before through all the major companies but never tried a local firm before and I have to say, it was the best car hire I have ever experienced.
