It's on the same road. Walmart is about 2-3 blocks away. Not far at all. Walmart Supercenter is about a mile away on Turkey Lake Road. 651daniel... It's about 1,1 mile. Not so far, but with the grocery we choose always to come back by Uber ( 5 dollars ).
Thanks for all your help. It's reassuring to know where the wal-marts are! We have a tight schedule getting into Pagosa Springs, and I might have some time-related anxiety if we save the purchases til we're on our way from GCNP. I'll probably do a walmart run or two before GCNP, then stop in Cortez for last-minute stuff if needed.
Driving from DC - directions & groceries? 15 years ago. We will be driving from the DC area to Snowshoe in Feb. From what I have read, the best directions are to take 66W to 81 South to 55 West (through Petersburg) to 28 (through Greenbank) and then 66W (through Cass) to Snowshoe. 2. Re: Grocery Stores near airport. The airport is actually in Belgrade, about 15-20 min. west of Bozeman. If you would rather not backtrack to the Wal-Mart, there is an IGA and a large Albertson's at the main Belgrade intersection - where you'll turn south on Jackrabbit Lane to get to 191.
Re: Super Walmart on way from Denver. 13 years ago. There is a Super Walmart south of the airport on Tower Road. It is just before the I70 interchange with Tower road. Takes about 15 minutes from the rental car area. We did the same thing on a trip in June. There is also one on the west side of Denver off I70 exit 264.
There is also a Super Wal-Mart on 535 near Osceola Pkwy and the Lake Buena Vista Factory Outlets. If taking 417 from the airport, you would get off at the 535 exit from 417, and the road you would be on after exiting is 536.
