I’ve researched various travel insurance outlets, and found that many companies score poorly when it comes to claims processing. The negative reviews aren’t limited to Trawick either.
Trawick Travel Insurance is an absolute SCAM. Stay away from them like the plague... I have been trying for 4 months to get a settlement and they just keep asking for more and more information. After sending everything, they said that they need to contact the hospital to obtain the doctor's notes.

Their BBB rating is A+, 20 years in business and underwritten by Nationwide. Based on this, and the coverage they offered, we bought a policy for our 8 day trip in October.

They have increased trip delay coverage - room/board - for a very reasonable cost. If you get $4000/$300 a day. Do you just get $300 a day or do you have to remit receipts for food and lodging.
