On June 25, we received emails from Free stating that the plans were terminated (as expected). On June 26 - my credit card was billed by Free (and in an amount significantly more than the original plans cost).

Cancelling Free SIM Service is easy online -. 1) You need to login to - https://mobile.free.fr/account. 2) Select the 5G service. 3) Scroll to the bottom and select "Terminating a contract" (if English translation is set). 4) Provide the date when you want to cancel the service and click on send.

Either plan can be cancelled any time so you could indeed get a monthly plan 3 times a year and cancel it, I suppose. You would have to check the details.
Answer 1 of 6: We just spent a month in France and got a Free Mobile sim for the stay. Paid 2€ for one month, no contract. Paid the 2€ + 10€ (for the sim card) at that time.
