The Carson mansion also known as the Ingomar club is a private club. The interior is spectacular. With beautiful stained glass, stunning decor, hard carved, rare and special woods throughout. Reputed to be the most oft photographed house in California. Originally a men's club, the Ingomar club accepted women members.

May 2024 • Solo. As you enter this well preserved antebellum mansion, you step back in time to the mid 1800’s. The home contains an impressive collection of furnishings true to the era…many original to the house. Our guides, Barbara and Sylvia were wonderful and especially knowledgable.
There is a double reason to tour this house. First of all, it is a beautiful mansion with interesting architecture. I especially liked the room upstairs with the skylight. But apart from the house itself, every inch of the interior is packed with art treasures from around the world. The tour guide was very nice and informative.
