I too bought the insurance from priceline, but when I arrived at the Hertz counter was told it was invalid and the $10.99/day would be $29.99/day instead. Priceline customer service just giggled saying, oh yeah it's not covered, and would investigate me getting a refund.

It appears there's no AAA discount on Hertz right now except for weekend and weekly rentals (I'm renting for 4 weekdays). Hertz has a 25% off discount coupon code, but it only allows one CDP code, so it won't let me enter my AAA information to get the free second driver.
