The first leg of the flight leaves Philadelphia at 7:00 a.m. (ugh!). Originally, we were going to be traveling on an 8:20 flight, but American Airlines moved the departure 20 minutes later, making the connection time too short to make. That's another story . . .
AA went through a period a while back were they moved some of their flights to T5 at LHR but I believe they moved them all back to T3. The AA code share flights that are operated by BA use T5. Your wife will need to follow the Flight Connections sign after arriving in T3 for the transfer to T5.
84 helpful votes. American Airlines with Connecting British Airways Flight. 6 years ago. I just want to make sure the AA rep was correct about this. I have a flight going from LAX to ZUR via LHR. The LAX to LHR portion is on American. When I arrive at LHR, the connecting flight is British Airways. The connecting time is around 90 minutes.

One can get from any gate to any gate, in any of the terminals, in about 15 minutes, or less. It takes us longer to de- plane than it does to get to the next gate.

On St Thomas AA requires that you be at the airport 3 hours before scheduled departure for check-in but 90 minutes for boarding passes and baggage if you check in online. All other airlines are 2 hours in advance and 90 minutes for online check-in/boarding passes/baggage.
