I can't agree more. I don't trust used cars in PR. For some reason, cars seem to deteriorate faster in PR. Most roads are ok but there still are quite a number of bumps and even potholes everywhere. I would rent because the money you may save buying a car-if any as cars are more expensive in PR- you may have to spend it on car repairs.
