Do not use Avis at Milan Airport. I had pre-booked my car rental from Avis, thankfully I had booked this via Expedia, but more on that later. I arrived from London and made my way to the Avis rental desk as required, only 2 staff working on the desks, ok understandable considering Covid etc.
