1. Re: Best resorts for food allergies. 3 years ago. Grand Palladium Costa Mujeres & Grand Palladium Riviera Maya have an excellent food allergy program. I have been to them both and I have a unique food allergy. They give you cards to show the staff and the chef came out to speak to me several times.
On our most recent trips, we were asked before every meal about them. I would choose a better resort that meets your other trip criteria. Then email with them to confirm how they handle food allergies. Once on-resort, talk directly with chefs or food service managers--easier to do at smaller properties most likely.

First, print a food allergy card in Spanish to show EVERYONE at the resort, from check-in staff to waiters in the restaurants. Talk to the Managers when you check-in and make sure they understand the seriousness of the matter.
