Definitely try London Drugs. They’re a western Canadian chain of stores with a reputatable photography department. The store on Robson is next to your hotel, but they have a larger location on Georgia and Granville a 15 minute walk away too. Otherwise Kerrisdale Cameras is your next best bet.

This is a cool little hip neighborhood in Vancouver bordered by 41 St and West Blvd. The newly opened Arbutus bike trail runs through the Village. There are lots of little shops and cafes on both 41 St and West Blvd. It is an easy commute (by cat or bike) from here to downtown, Kitsilano, UBC, and the airport.

The 2 foot (610 mm) railway has a 35 minute return train journey to 'Summit Station' with panoramic views of the whole of the Upper Goulburn Valley and beyond. After each train journey there is a guided tour of the steam museum, locomotive sheds and workshop. There is a kiosk, disabled facilities, fun for all ages and stages.
Kerrisdale Mountain Railway is a great little gem, tucked away in the treetops. The gorgeous trains, grounds, track and museum are lovingly maintained and run by Andrew and Jennifer Forbes, who gave us a great welcome and lots of history about the trains. Andrew is passionate about his subject so if you're train mad, don't miss this.
